Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Assist in completing and submitting PPAPs, ISIRs, Control Plan and FA inspections.
Calibrate and maintain test and measurement equipment and the calibration system.
Perform ISO internal audits.
Accurate complete of records or computer entries associated with the inspection's duties.
Participate and assist in process improvement initiatives and shall present a positive attitude.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and returns (RGA).
Perform cleanliness testing.
Stay informed about industry regulations and quality standards to ensure process aligns with applicable requirements.
Assist with other projects as needed or assigned.
Skills:
Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Must be able to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
Proficiency with GD&T and CMM.
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff and customers.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
Basic Knowledge of quality concepts and control along with understanding of production processes and procedures.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Physical Demands:
Must be reliable.
Ability to lift 20 to 35 lbs.

Ability to maintain a stationary position for 50% of shift.
Ability to maneuver heavy work pieces with the assistance of lifting aids.
Ability to sit, stand, bend as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or higher preferred.
3 years of inspection experience in metal fabrication environment.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
